City Council’s Favorite Charities Millions Annually

Little Chicago Watch has learned that City of Chattanooga converts millions of our tax dollars into charity pursuits for some of the most top heavy nonprofits, rich with assets, cash, and over the top salaries. River City Company and the Chamber of Commerce CEO’s have salaries in excess of $200,000. Do they really need the property taxes paid by families trying to get by?

There are well documented ethics violations by City Council members that have voted to convert the public’s hard earned property tax dollars into their favorite charity.  There is more conflict of interest than could possibly be reported in this extraordinarily honest Times Free Press piece.

We retrieved the list, some of these are rich corporations that don’t need our property tax dollars.
